JEM has been in the manufacturing and sales of durable bagging scales for over 45 years. For handling free flowing products into open mouthed bags our product line includes mechanical and digital gross weigh scales (product weighed in the bag), and digital net weigh scales.
Net Weigh Scales – pre-weighs products (pre-weighs product that is discharge into a bag) for faster production speeds. Available in duplex, double fill hoppers for 20+ bag per minute capacity.
Flexible filling options for bags, boxes, buckets and pails, drums, pouches as well as in process batching and receiving capabilities with full production data collection for any system integration.
Net weight scales are required for integration with automated bag hangers, form, fill and seal machines and other automated systems below that require products to be weighed and measured prior to filling.
Designed to prevent cross contamination between products. Includes radiuses on all weigh hoppers, transitions and spouts and additional cleanout doors and panels on all sides of scale housing and additional access standard on all feeder types. All models come standard in carbon steel with food grade epoxy finish. 304 stainless steel available for product contact surfaces or all stainless steel available for corrosive or powder applications. This includes all stainless metalwork, load cells, cylinders, bearings, fasteners and hardware and IP69 SS scale controller. Food grade finishes and bead blasting available for an upcharge for food grade requirements.
The NW EAGLE net weigh bagging scale is designed to handle 10 lb. to 110 lb. bags (5 kg – 50 kg). The scale is supplied with either a 2.0 cubic foot or 3.5 cubic foot capacity weigh hopper. The scale can be supplied in Simplex for up to 12 bags per minute, Duplex for 2022 bags per minute or Triplex for up to 30 bags per minute.
Gravity gate feeders are supplied for free-flowing products. We also offer gravity/vibratory feeders, belt feeders, auger feeders and single vibrating pan feeders.
The NW EAGLE scale can interface with automatic bag placers and vertical or horizontal form, fill and seal machines. Accessibility is a key factor in the NW Eagle design. All four sides of the scale are fully accessible by tool-less access doors to provide ease in cleanout and maintenance. Our standard digital controller has programmable memory retained recipe codes and keeps track of all bag weights with a time and date stamp. The scale can be supplied in mild steel construction, stainless steel contact surfaces or all stainless-steel construction for food grade or corrosive environments.

The SMNW FALCON is a high speed net weigh bagging system designed for small bag and container weights from 1 lb to 20 lbs. (1/2 – 10 kg). The scale includes a gravity gate feeder with pantleg diverter to an Eriez electromagnetic vibratory pan feeder. We also offer the scale with a 6 inch single auger feeder for very fine powders, flours and other fluidic products. The system includes your choice of a .4 or 1.0 cubic foot capacity weigh hopper and lower product transition.
Various spout types and spout sizes are available as well as an Auger feeder for flours, powders and other fluidic products.
All systems include a single point compression load cell and digital controller package with memory retained recipe codes, JEM‐Link data and troubleshooting connection and auto jog feature. The scale is offered in Simplex‐single head, Duplex‐double head and a Triplex‐triple head for your various production requirements

The GWD DIGITAL ROYAL is a digital electronic gross weight scale for bags from 10 lb. to 110 lb. (5 kg – 50 kg). Typical production speeds are 8 to 9 bags per minute with an accuracy of ± 50 grams (2 ounces). The standard model includes two load cells, a three-position gravity gate (open, partially open, and closed), a pneumatically operated center gripper spout, and is constructed of mild steel with an epoxy coating. We offer gravity vibrators, belt feeders, screw feeders, and single-plate vibrator feeders, as well as dust tight spouts for a variety of product applications.
The GWD DIGITAL ROYAL is also available with a stainless-steel contact plate or with all stainless-steel construction for corrosive or food grade products.

The WOLVERINE provides an economical approach to filling bags from 10 lb. to 110 lb. (5 kg – 50 kg). Typical production speeds are 4‐5 bags per minute at ± 4 ounce (100 gram) accuracy. The GWM scales can be supplied with a variety of spout sizes to accommodate your specific bag dimensions.
Flex‐Belt and Auger feeders are available to handle products that are not free flowing in nature. The scales are available in mild 10-gauge steel or can be supplied with stainless steel product contact surfaces or all stainless-steel construction for corrosive or food grade products such as salt, fertilizer and various food products.
The GWM comes standard with a cam grip spout sized for your specific bags. For dusty products please inquire about Dust Tight Spout options with rear dust port.
